Stewart's Future in Question: NRL Teams Keeping an Eye on Raiders Fullback

Chevy Stewart, the young fullback from the Canberra Raiders, is reportedly under scrutiny from two rival NRL teams as speculation mounts about his future with the club.

According to Zero Tackle, Stewart, who is part of the next wave of promising fullbacks alongside Liam Ison, Sua Fa'alogo, and Isaiah Iongi, faces uncertainty regarding his position in Canberra.

Initially considered the potential future No.1 for the Raiders after transferring from Cronulla, Stewart's standing has diminished as Kaeo Weekes has established himself as the primary fullback.

Weekes is nearing a long-term contract extension, effectively solidifying his role and leaving Stewart at risk of being squeezed out of Canberra.

As he approaches November 1, Stewart will be free to negotiate with other teams.

Further reports indicate that Stewart has caught the attention of clubs looking to capitalize on his situation.

Fox League's James Hooper mentioned that the Cronulla Sharks and St George Illawarra Dragons are among the teams closely monitoring his circumstances.
