Speedster Josh Addo-Carr to bolt from Bulldogs

Josh Addo-Carr's time donning the blue and white for the Canterbury Bulldogs may be coming to an end, with reports indicating he is set to be given the green light to chat with other clubs.

Linked with a potential exit from the kennel as early as last week, many footy experts believe the speedy winger, who pulls in a hefty $550,000 a season, could be scouting for a new team before his contract runs out in 2025.

According to News Corp, Addo-Carr is poised to be given the official nod to hit the market and explore his options with rival teams.

If he can lock in a cushy long-term deal elsewhere, it's unlikely the Bulldogs will play hardball and they could release him ahead of the 2025 NRL campaign.

With just a year left on his contract, the future of the lightning-fast winger has been up in the air ever since he ran into trouble with two roadside drug tests, earning himself a breach notice from the NRL.

If the rumors are true, it looks like Addo-Carr could soon be trading in his Bulldogs jersey for a fresh start elsewhere on the footy field.
