The Sharks will face the Bulldogs in the opening match of the NRL's Magic Round, despite missing both co-captains.
Set to kick off at 6:00 PM at Suncorp Stadium on Friday, the Sharks welcome back winger Ronaldo Mulitalo from a ruptured ACL, along with Jesse Ramian, who returns from a medial ligament strain.
However, the team will also be without Blayke Brailey, ending his impressive streak of 139 consecutive NRL games due to concussion protocols.
Brailey sustained a head injury during the Sharks' recent match and will sit out the game for the required 11-day standdown.
Co-captain Cameron McInnes will also be sidelined due to an ankle injury.
Both players are expected to be available for Round 13 against the Sea Eagles.
Prop Addin Fonua-Blake will take on the captaincy role in their absence.
Coach Craig Fitzgibbon noted that Brailey's absence provides an opportunity for Jayden Berrell to showcase his skills in only his fourth NRL game.
