In a surprising turn of events, the Broncos have stood down a prominent player due to a violation of team standards. Meanwhile, a significant number of debutants have been named across various teams for the final round of the regular season.

The Melbourne Storm, Canberra Raiders, Penrith Panthers, and New Zealand Warriors have all opted to rest at least one of their key players. The Panthers, however, have brought back most players who were sidelined in the previous week's matches.
