Melbourne Storm's Grant eyes open market

Melbourne Storm players spotted in bizarre training move ahead of Panthers clash

Harry Grant has ruled out a move to the Perth Bears, not wanting to stand in the way of former teammate Tyran Wishart, who has signed a multi-year deal with the new NRL club.

The Melbourne Storm hooker is among the leading players intending to explore the open market from November 1.

Grant is contracted to Melbourne through the end of 2028, but a clause could allow him to become a free agent in 2027 if activated.

His experience is likely to attract rival clubs, although Grant has not ruled out staying with the Storm.

If Melbourne cannot match competing bids, he could leave the club.
