Melbourne Storm's Munster open to Sydney move

Melbourne Storm players spotted in bizarre training move ahead of Panthers clash

Cameron Munster is expected to enter the NRL player market on November 1 after contract talks with Melbourne failed to secure an extension beyond 2027.

Manager Justin Caines has rejected reports that Munster would not consider a move to Sydney, telling CODE Sports that the city remains under consideration.

"I can tell you, we are not ruling out a move to Sydney," he told CODE Sports.

Munster has also been linked with the incoming PNG Chiefs and Perth Bears, as well as the Brisbane Broncos.

"We're open to all options. We have made no secret about the fact we're heading to November 1 and Sydney is certainly an option.

"Cameron is a family man, he is a captain, and he is a leader. We have no concerns about him living or playing anywhere."
