The Sydney Roosters will have a hunger to bounce back from their recent loss when they go head-to-head with the North Queensland Cowboys this weekend.

The match will take place at Netstrata Jubilee Oval on Saturday evening.

According to a report on the Roosters' official website, this will be the first ever meeting between the two teams in NRLW history.

After a tough defeat against the Knights in Round 8, the Roosters will be determined to secure a top two finish by claiming a victory in this match.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, are also coming off a disappointing loss to the Canberra Raiders last week and will be looking for their second win of the season.

They previously defeated the Knights in Round 2.

In preparation for this important clash, the Roosters' coach, John Strange, has made several changes to the team's lineup.

Notably, he has included two NRLW debutants in the squad.

Vice-captain Corban Baxter will once again wear the no.1 jersey, while Tyler Bentley and Brydie Parker will be positioned on the wings.

Jayme Fressard and Isabelle Kelly will take up the centers positions.
