Ricky Stuart, the coach of the Canberra Raiders, may face a fine from NRL headquarters after he was caught swearing at a cameraman and then blowing up in his press conference.
This incident occurred after the Raiders suffered a controversial call that contributed to their loss against the Brisbane Broncos.
The contentious call came when the Raiders believed they had gained possession in a favorable field position, but referee Adam Gee ruled that an 'escort' from Hudson Young had impeded Broncos player Selwyn Cobbo, resulting in a penalty for the Broncos.
Despite the Raiders challenging the decision, the Bunker upheld the ruling, claiming that Cobbo had been unfairly taken out.
However, replays showed that Young had only made minimal contact with Cobbo, who still had a clear shot at the ball.
Andrew Johns, a commentator on Channel 9, criticized the decision, stating that it was a "soft" call and that it was nit-picking.
He also called for the Bunker to stay out of the game and only intervene in try-scoring opportunities.
The controversy surrounding this incident has caused a stir in the NRL world, with many questioning the consistency and fairness of refereeing decisions.
