The Canberra Raiders achieved a historic comeback victory, defeating the Rabbitohs 36-12 at GIO Stadium.
This match was particularly significant as it marked Josh Papalii's 319th game, making him the most capped Raider in history.
The game also celebrated two other milestones: Matt Timoko's 100th game with the Raiders and Corey Horsburgh's 100th NRL match.
Papalii had a standout performance by scoring two tries and converting one.
Despite chilly, wet conditions, over 19,000 fans attended to support Papalii and his achievements.
The Rabbitohs took an early lead, scoring within the first four minutes thanks to Keaon Koloamatangi, and later extended their advantage with a penalty goal due to a dangerous tackle.
However, the Raiders rallied back, ultimately securing a dominant win.
