NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg Round One Preview

The Knock on Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions are set to kick off this weekend, with the two Raiders sides gearing up to take on the Warriors at Leichhardt Oval.

The Raiders NSW Cup squad will launch their 2025 campaign against the New Zealand Warriors on Saturday afternoon in what promises to be a gritty first round battle.

Coming off a solid season last year, the Raiders reached the preliminary final, falling just short by two points against the eventual premiers, the Newtown Jets.

This season, under the leadership of new head coach Chris Lewis, the Raiders NSW Cup team is stacked with talent as they prepare for the opening round showdown.

Five-eighth Adam Cook, who saw some NRL action last season, will be a key figure in guiding the young side from the halves.

Myles Martin gets the nod at lock for his debut game with the Raiders Cup squad, while new addition Jensen Taumoepeau will take his place on the wing.
