'I'm not fazed': Parramatta centre Will Penisini is standing firm in his position and won't be giving it up to Zac Lomax.

The latest reports from news.com.au suggest that Lomax will be making the move to the Eels next season, but with Penisini dominating in the right centre position, there's no guarantee Lomax will fill that role.

Lomax has been eyeing a return to his preferred spot at right centre, but with the young gun Penisini locking it down for the long haul, it could prove to be a challenge.

Rumors have been swirling about Lomax's potential move to Parramatta, and there's even a chance he could make the switch this season if the Dragons secure a top-tier player in return.

Despite Lomax's strong performances on the right wing, he isn't thrilled about being shifted from his comfort zone.

However, if he does make the move to the Eels, there's no guarantee he'll slide into the right centre position with Penisini excelling in that role.

Penisini, a rising star and Tongan representative, has solidified his status as one of Parramatta's key attacking weapons.

While his face is splashed across buses in the local area, the focus has now shifted to the potential addition of a new star player at the Eels.

"It's all just chatter, and I'm not too concerned about it.

If it happens, it happens," Penisini remarked nonchalantly on Wednesday afternoon.

With tensions rising and stakes getting higher, it's shaping up to be a battle for supremacy in the Eels' backline.
