NRL celebrates 2023 Grand Final week

The NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final Day is set to take place on Sunday, October 1 at Accor Stadium, and a full week of celebration has begun leading up to the event.

The teams for the Grand Final have been confirmed, with the Penrith Panthers set to face off against the Brisbane Broncos in the men's decider, and the Newcastle Knights taking on the Gold Coast Titans in the NRLW Grand Final.

To kick off the week of festivities, the NRL has announced a three-day Fan Fest at Circular Quay's Overseas Passenger Terminal from Wednesday to Friday.

This event will be filled with vibrant colors and fan experiences for all to enjoy.

Additionally, Bondi Beach will host the NRL and Touch Football Australia on Saturday, September 30, with Beach Touch Footy matches, League Stars clinics, and a lively festival atmosphere.

The official launch of Grand Final Week will take place on Tuesday evening on the shores of Sydney Harbour, where representatives from the competing clubs will gather.

Telstra, the NRL's Major Partner, will also be involved in the celebrations by bringing back the Telstra Junior Club Grants initiative.

This initiative will provide $216,000 worth of grants to 72 country clubs across Australia, with each club receiving $3,000.

Overall, it promises to be an exciting and action-packed week leading up to the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final Day, with plenty of activities and events for fans to enjoy.
