In a twist of fate for Panthers fans and SuperCoaches alike, the news of Nathan Cleary avoiding shoulder surgery has left many scratching their heads.

While it's a relief for the Panthers as they gear up for the finals, the loss of Cleary for the remainder of the season has created a dilemma for SuperCoaches everywhere.

As the most popular sell this round, many are left wondering who could possibly fill Cleary's shoes in the Halfback position.

Traditionally a powerhouse position in SuperCoach, this year has left a void with no standout players in the top 15 for overall average.

Instead of trying to find a direct replacement for Cleary, it may be time to think outside the box.

Consider holding onto him and using a key trade to bring in a Centre or Winger with a promising run home like Dominic Young, Zac Lomax, or Jacob Kiraz.

The Centre and Winger positions have been on fire this season and could be the game-changer needed to secure a successful SuperCoach season.

In the game of SuperCoach, sometimes you have to look beyond the obvious and take a chance on a left-field option.

With Cleary sidelined, now is the time to make a bold move and trust in your strategic skills to come out on top in the end.
