Zane Musgrove, a former NRL forward who has played for three different teams, has joined Oldham after being released by the Warrington Wolves in the Super League.
This transition came about via mutual agreement and is effective immediately, with Musgrove signing an 18-month contract that extends to the end of 2026.
Having played most recently in the NRL in 2023, Musgrove's career includes seven seasons with teams such as the South Sydney Rabbitohs (2016-2018), Wests Tigers (2020-2022), and the St George Illawarra Dragons (2023).
Across these stints, he accumulated 73 first-grade appearances.
At Oldham, Musgrove will join notable players including 11-time New Zealand international Elijah Taylor, former North Queensland reserve-grader Riley Dean, and Josh Drinkwater, who has played for both the Dragons and the Wests Tigers.
Josh is also known as the older brother of Cowboys fullback Scott Drinkwater.
In expressing his excitement about the move, Musgrove stated, "I'm looking forward to getting into it with Oldham, meeting the boys and getting to work.
I'm excited to play footy again after a couple of weeks without.
I will be ready to go and do what I do and enjoy it."
