Former Wests Tigers player John Morris will be returning to the club as an assistant coach, according to reports from weststigers.com.au.
Morris, who played 300 games over 14 seasons in the NRL, including three seasons at Wests Tigers, will join Benji Marshall's coaching team on a four-year deal at the end of this season.
The former hooker/halfback had a successful start to his coaching career, guiding the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks to the finals in his first two seasons as head coach.
He then joined South Sydney as an assistant coach for the past two years.
