Weale & Peters Named in Maroons Squad for Game II

Harvey Norman Maroons Head Coach, Tahnee Norris, announced the squad for Game II against New South Wales in the Women's State of Origin Series.

The roster remains largely unchanged, with one key adjustment: Chelsea Lenarduzzi has been added to the bench, while Destiny Brill moves to the 19th jersey.

Lenarduzzi, who first donned maroon in 2017 during the Interstate Challenge, played in the State of Origin in 2019 and has been a consistent presence on the team.

The 29-year-old Broncos prop is recognized for her strong post-contact metres and her capability to offload the ball.

Norris believes Lenarduzzi's strength will be a crucial asset as the Maroons aim to regroup and secure the series next week.
