Maroons call up Lenarduzzi for must-win Origin clash

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Maroons head coach Tahnee Norris has announced her squad for the upcoming crucial State of Origin match against New South Wales, making a significant change by calling up Chelsea Lenarduzzi.

According to nrl.com.au, Lenarduzzi, a forward from the Brisbane Broncos, will join the bench, while Destiny Brill will move to the reserves in the number 19 jersey.

Lenarduzzi's addition is set to bolster the Maroons' experience, particularly as they deal with the absence of key players Shannon Mato, who is on maternity leave, and Tazmin Rapana, who has retired.

The prop is expected to thrive in the competitive environment of the Origin arena.
