Penrith Panthers hooker Mitch Kenny has been charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact offence by the NRL Match Review Committee following a tackle on Roosters player Nat Butcher during their Round 7 clash.
If Kenny accepts the early guilty plea, he will be suspended for two matches, but he faces a three-match ban if he chooses to challenge the charge.
The Panthers have until Monday to enter a plea.
