Justin Olam plays judicial roulette as Tigers risk fate

‘It’s about fighting for what you believe is right’: Justin Olam set to roll the dice at the judiciary

Rugby League warrior Justin Olam is preparing to take a gamble at the judiciary, as the Wests Tigers gear up for a crucial showdown on Tuesday night.

If they can't sway the powers that be, Olam's season could come to a premature end.

The PNG powerhouse is facing a grade three careless high tackle charge for a bone-crunching hit on North Queensland's Heilum Luki, which saw him receive an early shower at Leichhardt Oval.

While he could have taken the easy way out with an early guilty plea and missed just three matches, Olam is banking on a successful downgrade to only sit out one game.

But if luck isn't on his side, Olam will be sidelined for four matches, effectively closing the chapter on his season.

With just four games remaining and a dreaded wooden spoon haunting their dreams, the Tigers are ready to go to war for their teammate.

"We're backing Justin all the way and will do whatever it takes to see him back on the field," declared Tigers boss Shane Richardson.

"We reckon the punishment doesn't fit the crime, and we're ready to put up a fight."

In the unforgiving arena of Rugby League, it's all about survival of the fittest.

Olam knows the stakes are high and is ready to dig deep, tap into his inner grit, and make a stand.

It's more than just a game - it's a battle for pride, honor, and the right to fight another day.
