Melbourne Storm has announced that Josh King has signed on for another two years, committing to wear the purple jersey until at least 2027.

A key player in the Storm's leadership group, King has been a standout performer in his 78 games over four seasons with the Club.

Making his debut against the Wests Tigers in 2022, King has shown his commitment to the Storm's cause with impressive stats, including three tries, 8 tackle breaks, 2,916 run metres, and 733 tackles made in the 2024 season.

His 26 appearances out of 27 games last year proved his dedication to the team.

Hailing from the Singleton Greyhounds, King previously played for the Newcastle Knights before making the move to Storm.

Since joining the Club in 2022, he has become a vital part of the forward pack, consistently delivering strong performances on the field.

In the opening game of the 2025 season, King once again demonstrated his skill with 21 tackles, 109 run metres, and a try in a dominant 56-18 victory over the Parramatta Eels at AAMI Park.

With King's commitment and talent, the Storm are looking forward to a successful season ahead.
