It's crunch time in the NRL SuperCoach grand final week and the pressure is on as injuries and suspensions have thrown a spanner in the works.

The preliminary finals saw some top-notch performances from the likes of Tom Trbojevic, James Tedesco, and the Storm stars, but there were also some disappointments with Jarome Luai and Daly Cherry-Evans failing to deliver.

Injury woes struck Kai Pearce-Paul, who was taken to hospital with a nasty leg laceration from a stray stud.

SuperCoaches across the country may need to make some tough decisions if there are mass restings this week.

Meanwhile, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck's season is over due to a concussion, leaving many teams in the lurch.

Rumors are swirling that the Storm may rest key players for their upcoming match in Townsville, potentially leaving SuperCoaches without Eliesa Katoa, Harry Grant, Jahrome Hughes, Ryan Papenhuyzen, Cameron Munster, and others.

It's a tough time for SuperCoaches, but as they say in the world of rugby league, it's all part of the game.
