Melbourne Storm fans received positive news regarding captain Harry Grant's injury, with hopes that he will be back on the field by round 10.

According to au.news.yahoo.com, there were concerns that Grant would miss the State of Origin opener on May 28 due to a hamstring injury that kept him out of a recent game against the Dolphins.

Storm's general manager, Frank Ponissi, confirmed that Grant will miss the next two games against the Rabbitohs and the Raiders, but the team is optimistic about his return for the game against the Wests Tigers.

Ponissi stated, "He'll be touch and go for that one.

If he's not available for that, he'll definitely be available for the last game before Origin."

In addition to Grant's injury, the Storm are facing other setbacks including Jack Howarth's 4-6 week absence due to a dislocated shoulder and Tui Kamikamica missing two games because of an ankle sprain.

Despite these challenges, the team remains hopeful for Grant's swift recovery and return to the field.

The positive outlook on Grant's recovery timeline is crucial for the Storm, especially as they aim to have their star player ready for the upcoming State of Origin series.

Grant's potential return before the series begins will provide him with valuable playing time at the club level, ensuring that he is in prime condition for the representative matches.

With Grant's leadership and on-field prowess, his return will be eagerly anticipated by both the Storm and Queensland Maroons fans.

As the team navigates through the injury challenges they are currently facing, having Grant back in action will undoubtedly boost their performance and strengthen their chances in the upcoming games.
