Penrith Panthers back-rower Luke Garner is reportedly poised to leave the club as interest from other teams heightens.
Garner, who has primarily played in the back-row or center, has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the Panthers' first-grade lineup since joining in 2023 after a five-year tenure with the Wests Tigers.
In his time at Penrith, he has played just 40 matches, with his appearances hindered by injuries.
Currently under contract until the end of 2026, Garner has been granted the opportunity to negotiate with rival teams before November 1.
He is reportedly close to signing a three-year deal with at least one interested club.
Previously linked to the Parramatta Eels, Garner has now caught the attention of the St George Illawarra Dragons, especially following the announcement that veteran player Jack de Belin will leave the team at the season's end.
