The Gold Coast Titans announced that the Frizelle family will assume full ownership of the franchise, concluding seven years of successful co-ownership with the Kelly family that began in December 2017.

The Kellys-Darryl and Joanne-and the Frizelles-Rebecca and Brett-initially purchased the license from the NRL, aiming to build a lasting legacy for the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales communities.

The organization has significantly benefitted from both families' contributions, resulting in enhanced investments in male and female programs across rugby league and netball.

The Kelly family's legacy will persist, as they have established substantial commercial strength and a solid foundation for future on-field success.

The ownership transition ensures the club's future, highlighted by plans for the Titans High Performance Centre at Emerald Lakes, set to open in 2027.

This facility is intended to support both high-performance and community sport, showcasing the commitment of the ownership group to the region.

Darryl Kelly expressed confidence in the future of the club, stating that he and Joanne will exit ownership "knowing that the future of the club was in safe hands."
