Jarrett Subloo, a former NRL five-eighth who played for the Canberra Raiders and South Sydney Rabbitohs, is set to join a new team ahead of the upcoming season, extending his rugby league career.

After last playing in the NRL in 2020, Subloo is transferring from the Northern Pride to the Brisbane Tigers, a feeder club for the Perth Bears, while continuing to compete in the QLD Cup reserve-grade competition.

At the Tigers, he will team up with new recruits including Ben Liyou (Gold Coast Titans), Harry Durbin (New Zealand Warriors), Judah Rimbu (Castleford Tigers), and Zack Lamont (Penrith Panthers), all of whom have also signed on for the 2026 season.

Originally signed by the Brisbane Broncos as a junior, Subloo played the recent season with the Northern Pride, where he made a notable impact by scoring six tries, forcing three drop-outs, assisting three tries, and breaking through defensive lines three times. He averaged an impressive 156 running metres per game over 19 appearances.

The 25-year-old has previous experience in the South Sydney Rabbitohs system during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Additionally, he made a brief appearance in an NRL match for the Canberra Raiders during the 2020 season, coming onto the field in the final minute of the game.
