In a strategic move bound to leave fans buzzing, former Wests Tigers center Triston Reilly has officially signed on the dotted line with the NSW Waratahs in the 15-man code, putting any hopes of a NRL comeback on ice until at least 2027.
Reilly, known for his versatility across different codes, showcased his skills during a brief two-year stint with the Tigers in 2022 and 2023.
With three first-grade appearances under his belt, along with one electrifying try, six tackle busts, two impressive line breaks, and an average of 71 running meters per game, he certainly left his mark.
Having also carved out a path with the Newcastle Knights and South Sydney Rabbitohs in the Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup, Reilly returned to the Waratahs' den last year.
His stellar performance on the field has now earned him a lucrative two-year contract extension, ensuring his presence in the squad until the end of the 2026 season.
Not only will Reilly continue to showcase his talents with the Waratahs, but he will also have the chance to link up with Sydney Roosters and NSW Blues star Joseph Suaalii next season.
This new pairing promises to bring a fresh dynamic to the field, as Reilly cements his place in the cross-code arena.
