Feeding Frenzy: Tigers and Bears Reign Victorious

Feeder Report: Round 10 & 11

In a weekend filled with ups and downs, Melbourne Storm's feeder clubs showcased their resilience and determination.

The Brisbane Tigers and North Sydney Bears managed to secure wins in their respective competitions, while the Sunshine Coast Falcons just fell short following a bye round.

After a devastating loss the previous week, the Tigers roared back to form at Totally Workwear Stadium, defeating the South Logan Magpies 40-34.

Storm's own Coby Williamson got the ball rolling with a try early on, setting the tone for a dominant performance.

Tristan Hope then took charge, unleashing a 24-point onslaught to keep the Tigers in front.

Former Storm player Kane Bradley showed his class by racking up an impressive 184 run meters, leading the charge for the Tigers.

However, the Sunshine Coast Falcons couldn't quite replicate their feeder club's success, going down 30-22 to the Wynnum Manly Seagulls at Ron Stark Oval.

Despite the Falcons' loss, newcomer Ammaron (AJ) Gudgeon showed promise in his HostPlus Cup debut, putting in an 80-minute shift at fullback and making a significant impact with a try assist, a line-break, and a tackle-break.

Meanwhile, Victorian Young Tonumaipea managed to bag a brace of tries for the Falcons, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory.

Overall, it was a mixed bag of results for Melbourne Storm's feeder clubs, with the Tigers and Bears proving their mettle on the field.

With flashes of brilliance and moments of disappointment, the weekend's games served as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of Rugby League.

In true Aussie spirit, the teams will regroup, learn from their experiences, and come back stronger in the next round.
