Newcastle Knights forward Adam Elliott, who currently lacks a contract for the upcoming season, is attracting interest from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, potentially marking his fourth NRL team.

A key player in the Knights' forward pack, Elliott has been unavailable this season, having made only seven appearances due to a biceps injury sustained in Round 12.

Despite approaching the later stages of his career at 30, Elliott still offers significant potential on the rugby league field. As he pursues a new contract, he is expected to attract various options in the coming months.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Elliott's performance has caught the eye of the Rabbitohs, who are keen to bolster their forward pack-an area in which they have struggled historically.

If he makes a move to the Rabbitohs, it would represent his third team in the NRL, following his tenures at the Canterbury Bulldogs, Canberra Raiders, and Newcastle, where he has accumulated over 170 first-grade appearances since his debut in 2016.

Additionally, as a two-time Indigenous All Stars representative, Elliott is anticipated to integrate seamlessly into the Rabbitohs lineup, where he would add considerable impact either from the interchange bench or in regular play, contributing effectively in various positions on the field.
