Dolphin and Cowboy Charged by MRC
Oryn Keeley of the Dolphins and Coen Hess from the North Queensland Cowboys have both been charged by the NRL's match review committee following their game on Thursday night.
The Dolphins enjoyed a decisive victory, though the Cowboys made a strong effort to come back in the second half.
Both players involved in the charges will face fines.
Keeley was the sole player reported during the match due to a dangerous tackle in the second half on Cowboys back Jaxson Paulo.
He received a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge, which requires him to pay a fine of $1,000 with an early guilty plea or $1,500 if found guilty at the panel.
Hess, meanwhile, was not cited during the game for a late-game crusher tackle on Dolphins second-rower Connelly Lemuelu, but he has since been charged.
