Canterbury Bulldogs' forward Joshua Curran has been charged again by the NRL's match review committee, but this time he will only face a fine.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, Curran and Dolphins utility Kurt Donoghoe are the two players charged following the State of Origin-impacted Round 12 opener.
Curran made his return from a previous three-game suspension for a shoulder charge on Payne Haas during a Round 8 loss to the Brisbane Broncos.
Now, after that suspension, he is managing a precarious situation, as he has three offences on his record.
This latest charge is for a Grade 1 careless high tackle on Dolphins fill-in outside back Max Fegai, which will result in just a fine.
The circumstances surrounding Curran's return highlight the ongoing challenges players face concerning discipline and penalties throughout the season.
