Sheridan Gallagher, 22, is making waves in both football and rugby league, showcasing her talent through a unique journey that she hopes inspires others.

Currently, she splits her calendar between the NRLW and A-League Women's seasons, seamlessly transitioning between two elite sports where she kicks goals in one and scores tries in the other.

Her path is rare, but she isn't alone; former Matilda Larissa Crummer has also made the switch to rugby league, currently playing for the Sunshine Coast Falcons in the QRL's BMD Premiership.

Crummer, who previously excelled in touch football, has an impressive history with the Matildas, having made 33 appearances.

At age 29, she is now embarking on a new chapter after being a former A-League Golden Boot winner.

Known for her speed on the football pitch, Crummer has hit the ground running in rugby league, scoring five tries in her first four appearances.

Given her rapid success, it's plausible that she may soon catch the attention of NRLW scouts.

Gallagher believes that these transitions between sports can encourage others to explore their athletic versatility and pursue different opportunities in the sporting world.
