Cotric Open to NRL Return Despite Super League Deal

Former NSW representative Nick Cotric has expressed his willingness to make a return to the NRL, even though he is under contract with the Super League team until the end of 2027.

The 27-year-old winger departed from the Canberra Raiders after the 2024 season to join the Catalans Dragons, where he has maintained the impressive form that initially made him a standout player.

As reported by Code Sports, Cotric feels he still has much to contribute at the NRL level and has garnered interest from a number of clubs.

Cotric made his mark in the league with the Raiders, debuting in 2017 and quickly becoming a pivotal player on the wing. His rapid ascent earned him the Dally M Rookie of the Year award in his first season.

Following four successful seasons in Canberra, Cotric joined the Bulldogs in 2021 before returning to the Raiders the next year.

His career achievements have also led him to represent his state and country. Cotric played for the NSW Blues in one match during the 2019 State of Origin series and was part of the Prime Minister's XIII in 2018.

In that same year, he was selected for the Australian Kangaroos and recently represented Serbia in 2024, honoring his family heritage internationally.

Several clubs are anticipated to seek seasoned outside backs in the upcoming seasons, making Cotric's potential availability a point of interest if he chooses to leave his contract early.

Having already excelled at both NRL and representative levels, the former Raider and Bulldog is confident that his best performances are still ahead of him.
