Originally, the addition of Daly Cherry-Evans was anticipated to serve largely as a mentor for emerging star halfback Sam Walker.
After a distinguished 15-year tenure and 352 games with Manly, Cherry-Evans was signed to play five-eighth, working alongside Walker.
