Bay of Plenty will restore All Blacks Pasilio Tosi, Emoni Narawa and Fehi Fineanganofo for Thursday's decisive NPC meeting with Tasman Mako.
Tasman also regains Noah Hotham and Timoci Tavatavanawai for the contest.
The ninth-placed Steamers and eighth-placed Tasman are level on 22 points, leaving both sides fighting for a top-eight position.
Coach Richard Watt said Bay of Plenty had shifted into a finals mindset after beating third-placed Hawke's Bay last weekend.
"I made the boys well aware of that so we're sort of in playoff mode now to be honest," Watt shared.
Watt said the returning internationals would also set valuable standards for Bay of Plenty's inexperienced players.
The Steamers have beaten leading sides Northland and Hawke's Bay, although losses to Southland and Manawatu exposed inconsistency.
"A game like that, it just gives you that confidence and belief that we can match up with anyone," Watt said.
