Team Update: Barnett on Track
NZ Warriors co-captain Mitchell Barnett is set to participate in Sunday's round 13 NRL match against the Rabbitohs after fulfilling his State of Origin duties.
The match will take place at Accor Stadium in Sydney, with a kickoff at 2:00 PM local time (4:00 PM NZT).
Barnett remains part of the 19-man game day squad following the exclusion of three players: hooker Sam Healey, prop Tanner Stowers-Smith, and fullback Taine Tuaupiki, who were omitted 24 hours prior to the match.
In Origin I, Barnett started as prop, contributing significantly to the Blues' 18-6 victory over the Maroons at Suncorp Stadium.
He played for a total of 41 minutes across two stints, accumulating 110 metres from 12 runs and making 26 tackles.
The bench for the Warriors will include utility player Te Maire Martin and middle forwards Demitric Vaimauga and Jackson Ford.
Martin has seen action off the bench in the last three matches and is approaching a career milestone, aiming for his 100th game; he is set to appear for the 98th time on Sunday.
