
Cody Walker and Jai Arrow have shared a unique bond that was highlighted in their recent match against the Titans, leading up to Arrow's milestone game.
This Friday night, Arrow will make his 100th appearance for the Rabbitohs against the Roosters, with Walker stepping in at five-eighth for this significant occasion.
In the previous match, Arrow experienced an emotional moment when Walker supported him on the field, even linking arms during the walkout. Arrow expressed his gratitude on Triple M, saying, "I'd spoken to him before the game about (the fact) I knew I was going to need help... I knew Cody would be the perfect one for me."
He continued, recounting how he told Walker, "I'm going to need you when we're out there. I'm going to go all stiff and struggle," indicating the critical support he found in Walker.
Arrow also expressed deep appreciation for the Rabbitohs, the NRL, and his teammates. "I'm forever in debt to the NRL, the Rabbitohs, to my teammates and coaches," he stated.
Walker shared his perspective on this special moment in an appearance on Nine's Freddy and The Eighth, emphasizing the camaraderie between the two players.
"He's a special mate of mine. I've always got his back and he clearly showed he's clearly got mine," Arrow concluded, underscoring their strong friendship in the sport.
