The Gold Coast Titans are buzzing with excitement as they announce that young gun Zane Harrison has been named as one of the star-studded finalists for the junior Gold Coast Sports Award.

This prestigious honor comes after Harrison's outstanding performance in the 2024 season, where he displayed immense talent and skill on the field.

In a field of tough competition, including gold medal-winning skateboarder Arisa Trew, junior tennis sensation Emerson Jones, Australian basketball prodigy Indy Cotton, Gold Coast Suns recruit Leo Lombard, and Major League Baseball hopeful Max Durrington, the 18-year-old Harrison has proven himself to be a standout candidate for the title of Gold Coast Junior Athlete of the Year.

Harrison's shining moments in 2024 include leading the Tweed Seagulls to victory in the Mal Meninga Cup, as well as guiding Palm Beach Currumbin State High School to triumph in both the Queensland and National Schoolboy championships.

His exceptional performances did not go unnoticed, as he also received accolades such as the Mal Meninga Cup player of the year award, the Justin Hodges Medal, and the Peter Sterling Medal.

Additionally, Harrison earned spots in both the New South Wales Under 19 squad and the Australian Schoolboys side.

After successfully completing his first full NRL pre-season with the Titans, Harrison recently showcased his skills in the team's trial match against the Broncos.

Titans' general manager of football, Anthony Laffranchi, expressed his pride in Harrison's accomplishments and hopes for even greater success in the future.
