In a recent interview with Zero Tackle, the legendary Willie Tonga, known for his skills on the rugby league field, revealed his top two teammates he enjoyed playing alongside during his impressive 13-season career.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Tonga discussed his move to the North Queensland Cowboys after a successful run with the Canterbury Bulldogs, where he clinched the NRL Premiership back in 2004.

A true representative of the game, having worn the jerseys of Parramatta Eels, Canterbury Bulldogs, and North Queensland Cowboys, Tonga eventually decided to retire in 2014, but not before trying his luck overseas in the Super League with the Catalan Dragons, Leigh Leopards, and Bradford Bulls.

When asked about his favorite teammates to share the field with in the NRL, Super League, State of Origin, or international matches, Tonga enthusiastically shared his picks with Zero Tackle.

It's always exciting to hear from a player with such an extensive rugby league background, reminiscing about the good old days and the comrades that made the game special for him.
