Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been named in the extended squad at jersey number 23, less than four weeks after breaking his right collarbone.
He sustained the injury during the Warriors' 45-26 victory over South Sydney on August 22.
A return would also bring the 31-year-old winger his 250th NRL appearance across 13 seasons with the Panthers, Bulldogs and Warriors.
The match will be the first NRL final played at Eden Park and is expected to draw New Zealand's largest crowd for a rugby league game.
Centre Leka Halasima is also included on the extended bench after missing the 16-26 qualifying defeat against the Dolphins last Saturday.
Prop Jackson Ford is unavailable after injuring his ankle during his comeback from a pectoral tear that had kept him out since June.
Eddie Ieremia-Toeava replaces Ford in the number 17 jersey, while the remainder of the starting side is unchanged.
The fixture marks the Warriors' seventh home final, but their first staged away from Go Media Stadium.
