Gold Coast Titans winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira is reportedly on the verge of leaving the club, as a rival team has received formal permission to discuss a possible move.
After underperforming and finishing second-last this season, the Titans are embarking on a significant roster overhaul with newly appointed head coach Josh Hannay at the helm.
Initially, during Des Hasler's tenure, Khan-Pereira was considered for trade to other teams earlier this year. However, Hannay expressed a desire to retain him for at least another season, until the completion of his contract. Despite this, it now appears he may not complete the remaining 12 months of his deal.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, the New Zealand Warriors have received the green light from the Gold Coast Titans to initiate conversations with Khan-Pereira, who could potentially make the switch as early as 2026.
A two-time Prime Minister's XIII representative, the 23-year-old has been a formidable presence in attack, although he has had notable defensive weaknesses during his playing time.
This performance has allowed the agile winger to maintain an impressive record, scoring 53 tries in 54 first-grade matches.
As the Titans continue their roster renovations, center Brian Kelly has also surfaced in discussions regarding a potential early departure, despite his contract extending until the end of the 2026 NRL season.
