Tonga switch could renew Utoikamanu-Molo clash

‘Bit s**t’: Tonga star reignites feud with rival after brutal knockout and controversial $390 fine

Stefano Utoikamanu is on Tonga's bench for Sunday's match in Sydney, while Samoan prop Francis Molo is named to start.

The selection leaves open whether they will meet again, as fans hope Tonga coach Kristian Woolf makes a late change to the starting pack.

Their last encounter came in Brisbane during the Pacific Championships, when Molo's shoulder hit Utoikamanu in the head inside two minutes.

Utoikamanu, making his Tonga debut after representing their rivals in two Tests, was knocked out after his first carry and missed the rest of the tournament.

Molo received a $390 fine but was not sent to the sin bin.

"I think I said it last year, I felt like it was a bit s**t that I get knocked out and out for the game and he got nothing for it," Utoikamanu told the NewsWire.

"But you know it is what it is, that's the game, and I think I can only look forward from now. I'm glad I've been able to try to play my best footy and I'm looking to do that again this week."

Utoikamanu said he shook Molo's hand after their previous match and "it was all sweet."
