Titans Secure Young Talent with Long-Term Contract
The Titans' talent development continues to shine.
In a significant move, 19-year-old outside back Tyler Pereira has signed a contract extension, ensuring his stay with the club until the conclusion of the 2029 season.
Hailing from Redlands and a product of Iona College in Brisbane, Pereira has progressed through the junior ranks, showcasing remarkable athleticism, a strong work ethic, and an exciting attacking style.
These impressive traits have allowed him to train with Josh Hannay's NRL squad, while still competing in the NRLQ league.
Starting next season, Pereira will transition into a full-time role as part of the top-30 squad.
The versatile player, capable of playing both centre and fullback, was chosen by Darius Boyd for the upcoming Under-19s State of Origin match next Thursday.
Titans director of football Scott Sattler made it clear how the organization views Pereira's future potential.
"Tyler is a player we've identified as having enormous potential, and we're thrilled to have him commit to the Titans for the foreseeable future," Titans director of football Scott Sattler said in the Titans statement.
"He's a talented outside back and has consistently shown the qualities we look for in young players coming through the program."
