Gold Coast Titans' bench forward Brock Gray has been ruled out for the season due to an ACL injury sustained during a match against the North Queensland Cowboys.
At 28, Gray was a mature-age debutant this year, surprising many when he was named for the season opener against the Canterbury Bulldogs by coach Des Hasler.
Having a history as a long-term reserve grader, Gray played 129 NSW Cup games before joining the Titans and achieving his first-grade debut.
He performed reliably off the bench during the Titans' first seven matches of the 2025 NRL season.
The Titans released a medical update indicating that Gray will consult with surgeons this week to outline his rehabilitation process.
Typically, ACL injuries can mean an absence of nine to twelve months.
If Gray recovers quickly, he could return to full training before the 2026 season begins; however, delays in recovery might result in him missing the initial games of next year.
