The Gold Coast Titans have announced the immediate departure of Ezra Howe, their long-time recruitment manager, who has been linked to a position with the Perth Bears.
Howe joined the Titans in 2019 and has played a crucial role in developing junior pathways and managing recruitment, helping to bring in new players and uncovering talent.
His move to the Perth Bears is expected as the Bears aim to strengthen their roster ahead of the opening of the player market on November 1 for the 2027 NRL season.
Howe's extensive background includes coaching the Junior Kiwis and serving as an assistant coach for the New Zealand Kiwis, as well as a past association with Mal Meninga at the Canberra Raiders.
This connection may enhance his prospects of securing the position with the Bears.
During his tenure with the Titans, Howe notably contributed to the club's Elite Development squad and player pathways for Under-16 and Under-18 levels.
