Gold Coast Titans coach Josh Hannay has openly evaluated his team's performance following a disappointing match against the Bulldogs, acknowledging that his players "looked a little bit young."
While they displayed some signs of a rally in the latter half, the Bulldogs dominated possession and kept the Titans defensive from the very start.
The Titans struggled to complete their sets, which led to unnecessary pressure on themselves as they consistently allowed the Bulldogs favorable field position during the first half.
Even though they managed to limit the Bulldogs to just two tries during this time, the opposing team could have easily increased their lead with a couple more goals.
"They put us under pressure early, whereas last week I probably felt like we didn't search when we're under pressure," Hannay remarked after the game.
