The Wests Tigers are facing increasing pressure to reevaluate Jarome Luai's place on the team as their lackluster season continues to spiral downward.
With only two victories in their last eleven games and a mere 22 points scored over the past four matches, the team's performance has raised concerns about Luai's role in their offensive strategy.
This situation follows Luai's announcement that he will leave the Tigers at the end of the season to join the Parramatta Eels, subsequently making a move to the PNG Chiefs in 2028.
During a segment on NRL 360, CODE Sports reporter Dean Ritchie posed the question of whether the Tigers should part ways with a player who clearly isn't in their future plans.
"I think it's certainly to be considered," Ritchie said.
"Let's peel it right back. Jarome does not want to be at the Wests Tigers, and then the Wests Tigers didn't want Jarome there at the club so they've made their bed."
