The NRL has announced that three judiciary hearings are set for Tuesday evening.
South Sydney Rabbitohs' second-rower David Fifita, along with Wests Tigers players Latu Fainu and Adam Doueihi, will be present.
The hearings will kick off at 6pm (AEST) with Fifita, followed by Doueihi at 7:30pm, and Fainu at 9pm.
These times may fluctuate if earlier hearings take longer than anticipated, marking a lengthy evening at NRL headquarters as both teams seek to secure their players' availability ahead of the finals.
Fifita is contesting a Grade 2 dangerous contact charge against Hudson Young, which occurred just after halftime during the Rabbitohs' unexpected defeat to the Canberra Raiders on Saturday.
While he is admitting guilt, he aims to downgrade the charge-his first offense on record-from Grade 2 to Grade 1, which would make him liable for a fine instead of the one-week suspension he currently faces.
Doueihi, in contrast, will be challenging a Grade 2 careless high tackle on Harry Hayes that occurred in the 54th minute of the Tigers' disappointing loss to the Canterbury Bulldogs.
A successful downgrade would mean a movement from a one-match suspension to a mere fine.
Fainu's case stands out, as he challenges a Grade 3 dangerous contact incident where he tackled Leo Thompson while on his knees.
Thompson landed in a precarious position, and rather than merely contesting the charge grade, Fainu intends to declare his innocence in hopes of avoiding punishment altogether.
