The Wests Tigers were unable to tame the Canberra Raiders in the Jersey Flegg Cup at GIO Stadium, suffering a 36-0 defeat.
The Raiders took charge early, leading 12-0 at halftime and adding four more tries in the second half to secure a dominant win.
The home side got on the board quickly with a slick play to the left, allowing winger Jesse Limon to score untouched.
Despite the Tigers clawing back into the contest, an unlucky bounce off a kick saw Raiders' forward Noah Martin grab the ball and increase their lead to 12-0.
But the Tigers' sloppy play and lack of discipline continued in the second half, leading to another Raiders try as Owen Pattie crashed over from close range to make it 18-0.
The visitors struggled to hold onto the ball and failed to complete their sets, handing the Raiders plenty of opportunities to run riot.
In the end, it was a tough day at the office for the Wests Tigers as they were outplayed and outclassed by a well-drilled Raiders outfit.
It's back to the drawing board for the Tigers as they look to bounce back in their next match.
