Tigers' Coach Slams Team After Historic Humiliation

‘Dumb and brain-dead’: Benji’s all-time roasting of terrible Tigers, apologises to fans for dark day

After a humiliating 68-0 defeat to Penrith, Tigers coach Benji Marshall did not hold back his criticism of his team's performance, labeling them as "brain dead" and "dumb."

The match at CommBank Stadium was a disaster from the start, with Penrith dominating throughout and ultimately achieving their largest win in history.

Early mistakes from the Tigers set the tone for the game, allowing the Panthers to capitalize and score six tries before halftime.

In the second half, Penrith maintained their relentless approach, adding another six tries and preventing the Tigers from scoring, which marked the fifth-largest defeat margin in NRL/NSWRL history.

The Tigers were unable to defend effectively, missing a staggering 52 tackles and permitting an astonishing 16 line breaks by the Panthers.

"Yeah, it's embarrassing … their performance was unacceptable," Marshall remarked, reflecting on the dark day for the team.
