"I've been dunked in the Kiwi culture like a biscuit in a cup of tea," Harvey Norman Jillaroos veteran Simaima Taufa declared, gearing up for a triumphant homecoming as the team gears up for their first battle in New Zealand since 2018.

Touching down in Christchurch under the cover of night, the Australian squad has their sights set on redemption after last year's stunning defeat at the hands of the Kiwi Ferns.

Originally hailing from Tonga, Taufa spent her formative years in Auckland before her family made the move to Sydney.

Now, she's itching to make her mark on the country of her upbringing once more.
